Not-So-Iced Coffee

I love me some good hot coffee. But iced coffee definitely has its perks. Along with being very refreshing on a hot day, it contradicts a rule about drinks that if you leave them out without drinking them they kinda go bad… Or at least lost the vast majority of their enjoyableness.

However, iced coffee can be left out and maintain flavor. This Dunkin’ Dark Roast (shown below) here has been out for 6 hours and is still delicious and energizing with every sip.

The key is when the ice melts. If it melts with at least half the cup left, the ice to coffee ratio should still be good enough to not taste like a weak cup of tea.

It may not be ice cold anymore, but it will never be too warm either. What other drinks are still good, even at room temperature? Water?
